The team at Milestone have done an amazing job at modeling these cars which are all based on real life die-cast Hot Wheels.


Both traditional Hot Wheels and real life brands such as Back to the Future and Batman have made it into the game.


Each car has it own unique driving style and while 60 cars are available to start, it's clear many more will be added in the future.


Characters

The game comes with 6 maps rooms to customize and race, but It's not just about the room. It's about the tracks that are built in them.


You'll find plenty of pre-built tracks for each room with each track taking advantage of the space with their own unique twist, turns and quirks.


When done playing on the pre-built tracks, use the track builder to customize your own tracks with near limitless possibilities.


Maps

As an arcade racing game, Hot Wheels Unleashed comes with all the power ups, environmental quirks, short cuts, boost and other resources to give you a leg up in a race.


The boosting feature lets you blow by your opponent or use it to cut time with quickly going through shortcuts or whipping through loops.


The developers did a nice job of balancing gameplay. For example, as your car stats increase, your amount of boost decreases not making the game too easy but also not making it too difficult as well.
