Daddy Dearest is an ex rockstar and the girlfriend’s dad. You have to rap battle him to win his approval of your relationship with his daughter.


Pico is the antagonist during the third week. He definitely loves his uzi so you’ll have to be sure to avoid his shots in order to survive the rap battle


Last but not least, we have Senpai from week 6. Brought over from another game, he's very anime and a lot of girls from school adore him.


Characters

Starting off with easy mode, the notes are going to move a lot slower and the timing of the inputs is going to be easier to help you learn and progress


Next up is medium where things step up a notch with quicker rhythm and extra notes are added as well. Recommended for the intermediate players.


The Hard difficultly has notes dropping down super fast with a lot of extra notes added in. Make sure you’ve trained and practiced up a bunch.


Difficulties

For the first week, you have to battle your girlfriends dad, Daddy Dearest. One of the easiest characters in the whole game so with practice, he can be beaten no problem.


Week 3 introduces a change of scenery where you’ll go up against Pico. Watch out as he has a weapon and his uzi does shoot so make sure you don’t mess up your notes.


Week 6 has the hardest character, Senpai. Be careful when he changes into the spirit as that’s when things get really, really tough.

Developed in 2020 by NewGrounds.com, Friday Night Funkin' is an open source rhythm game that revolves around you the boyfriend who must compete in rap battles to win the love of his girlfriend. Similar to other rhythm games, you have to follow your opponents notes through timed responses to avoid running out of health over the course of the song.
