The infirmary will help heal ill workers or those injured on the job. If not treated, they can die and warm bodies are a valuable resource in the frozen wasteland of Frostpunk.


Another incredibly important building is the workshop, this facility develops new technologies for your city. Choose wisely from the tree. The wrong choice at the wrong time can be deadly.


Building

Frostpunk's laws and policies help manage public sentiment. Adaptation lets you issue edicts like caring for frostbitten workers or deciding if children should work.


Purpose lets you choose from two different directions. For example, choosing Religion let's you build churches and order services to raise hope among your population.


The other Purpose branch pursues order in the form of law enforcement and propaganda. This branch crushes discontent, but is a slippery slope to a dictatorship.


Laws

The endless game mode provides hours of entertainment and is a great way to learn the core game principles. Be sure to check out the difficulty settings as you get comfortable with the game.


Frostpunk's narrative campaigns present you with difficult management and moral decisions. n the refugees, you are the beacon in the wasteland - and people flock to you.


Similarly, the Fall of Winterhome is soul crushing. You have to buy time to get as many people and supplies as you can to a giant dreadnought before your flawed generator dies.

Frostpunk is set in an late 19th century alternate history timeline, where the world is overcome by a massive, bone-chilling storm.  This game offers a variety of game modes, including campaign narratives and an endless survival mode. Frostpunk is available for PC, Mac, Xbox and PS4, with a sequel expected sometime this year.
