If your friends tell you that Garrus is not their all time favorite character in a game, it's okay. They are just not your friends.


Much like Canderous from KOTR, Wrex is a remnant of a lost war that found his people lost and scattered before the game started.


Liara is a fan favorite and clearly the intended love interest. When first encountered, she's a little rusty at communicating as she's been avoiding living creatures for the past 50 years.


Characters

The Citadel is where I feel in love with Mass Effect. It's the non-combat hub functioning as the center hub for galactic politics and culture.


Noveria is one of my favorite planets. It's basically a place where big businesses go to conduct illegal research and deals.


Virmire emphasises that your decisions have major consequences and that you have to live with those consequences for all subsequent games in the series.


Maps

Weapons is the first of three classes you can choose for your character and thanks to the revamped content in the Legendary Edition, this class feels better than ever.


Tech is a really cool class focusing on sabotages for your enemies and buffs for your team. Selecting the Tech, Hybrid, Infiltrator class will put a sniper rifle in your hands.


The Bionic classes are my favorite classes to play... in Mass Effect 2 and 3. In Mass Effect 1, it still feels a little clunky even in the Legendary Edition.

Mass Effect™ Legendary Edition

Tied with Star Wars: KOTR, Mass Effect is easily one of my all-time favorite games. The love put into this game is palatable and features some of the best adaptations to the sci-fi genre I've seen. The 2021 remaster has fixed many of the 3rd person shooter issues found in original and along with a full face lift, it looks and feels fantastic to play.
