Every monster has unique abilities to help you take the win such as the original Murder Monkey or cross over characters from Mostrum.


For every monster, there's a mortal in their crosshairs but these mortals aren't going down with out a fight.


While not only a playable character, Malak will make a special ghostly appearance should you not collect enough soul shards.


Characters

Run through the tight hallways of Monkey Business to grab the shards and watch out for the Chef Monkeys.


In Monstrum Madness, this crossover stage has you grabbing soul shards on a ship. Can you survive this Monstum inspired map?


The classic horror game Silent Hill DLC adds in an eerie empty town. Run through the streets and pray you don't summon Pyramid Head to your neighborhood.


Maps

Shard Mayhem has every character playing as monsters. Collect as many soul shards as you can before the time runs out.


Soul Collection has each mortal player striving to have the highest soul shard count. The last place character will be killed off and brought back as a Murder Monkey.


Maze Escape pits three mortals against one monster. Mortals must collect enough soul shards to escape while monsters just needs to do what they do best and murder some mortals.

Welcome to your doom in Dark Deception: Monsters & Mortals. Taking the gameplay from the indie horror game Dark Deception and making it multiplayer, Monsters & Mortals pits you and your friends against each other with the goal of collecting as many soul shards as possible. With a variety of characters to play as, you can use unique skills and special powers to stop your "Frenemies" in their tracks and with new DLC planned for the future, it's a great multiplayer with up to 4 friends.
